Our one-night stay at the Ro Hotel Windermere was unfortunately disappointing. The room was dimly lit and the bathroom cramped, with a bed as hard as a plank. Despite its great location near Windermere, service at the bar was slow, and we left to find food elsewhere. the staff were friendly, and the area offered lovely landmarks like Bowness Bay and the World of Beatrix Potter Attraction, perfect for family bonding.

The location was incredible, in the buffet area and the interior design was nice. The breakfast was reasonable, the room was stylish with a tv from the 80's.

we had a pleasant stay at the ro, enjoying the spacious and well-decorated room. the hotel is centrally located, making it easy to explore the area. the staff were friendly and offered helpful service throughout our visit. while the breakfast was decent, it could use some improvement in organization. overall, we appreciated the comfort of the beds and the tranquility of our room during the night.

Relaxing hotel, fairly clean, with outstandingly accommodating staff like a manager. Decent sized room with coffee, a lounge area and a kettle, and exceptionally comfortable bed.

We had a brilliant time, good value. This was a 1st class property with a clean pool. The location was perfectly comfortable in the bar reception area and the atmosphere was family. We had family room, and it was recently refurbished.

The location was ideal, easy walk to Lakes Christian Centre. This hotel was in a very very nice area very close to the ' old quarters and all the lovely shops in the town and all the local attractions. My room was a nice size, had hypo-allergenic pillows. The breakfast was warm with the serving plates and fruit juice, as example and had something for everyone.

Excellent location- close to lake but quiet as away from main roads. Decent parking space. Great views (lake) from our room (Room 52). Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Would go back again, despite the minor issues mentioned below.
Rubbish range of Tele channels (we didn't miss it..others might!). Equally useless room heating. Should supply map/directions for getting there for first time visitors....navigator leads you to a one way alley, away from the hotel, from which it is difficult to reverse!

It's glory has faded slightly; but the mainly young, vibrant, staff make up for it. Great welcome with instant advice on where to park. Reception staff on the ball. However, no offer of help with the baggage as porters concentrated on coach passengers (who would be paying a lot less than us!) Douglas, the young barman was particularly welcoming and helpful. Good al a carte menu; great main dishes; veg can be a bit overcooked. Super Maitre'd is on the ball. Usual buffet breakfast -- all a bit tired by 9am. Apparently no kippers!? Adequate wine list at decent prices. Good local bitter too at just £3.30 a pint. It's on a very steep hill which may be challenging for the elderly or disabled if on foot. Good place for a relaxing few days. Close to boats and cruise ships. Great view from terrace. Overall, we liked it and will probably return..In fact we did stay two nights, after initially booking one.
It's not perfect; but we travel a lot and, to be realistic, it's better than most. Certainly beats Travelodge!!!

The ro had a fantastic location, just a short walk to local shops and restaurants. The beautiful king room was comfortable, and the staff, especially anna, were very cute and helpful. The breakfast was solid, and the mini fridge in the room was a nice touch!
